This project was my first experience working with a live client, contributing to the redesign and development of policy documents for Telavox that would be published on the company’s live website. I worked alongside a senior designer and collaborated with another designer to help structure, organise and refine the documents so they were visually engaging, accessible and aligned with the company’s evolving digital presence.
Working within established brand guidelines gave me valuable insight into professional design practice and collaborative workflows within a larger company environment. Throughout the project I gained first hand experience communicating ideas, responding to feedback and adapting designs to meet both client expectations and functional requirements.
Using the provided typefaces and limited colour palette, I designed clear and impactful layouts for each document, ensuring that information was easy to navigate and supported with relevant iconography and visual hierarchy. A key focus of the project was balancing readability with strong visual presentation while maintaining consistency across all pages.
The project also introduced me to some of the common challenges faced within professional design practice. During production, the company was undergoing a major rebrand, which created additional design considerations and limitations. Navigating these changes taught me how to adapt creatively within shifting brand systems and reinforced the importance of flexibility, problem solving and collaboration within a professional studio environment.
